Where to dine in Gulf Shores On The Island, Near The Plantation. Most of the restaurants listed below have outdoor or water view dining. You can click on the dining of choice below to see if they are water front. The seasonal calendar generally starts around Mid-May.

If you go back to town from the condo to get groceries, it is 13 miles to the  Ft Morgan Walmart. It is across the street when you go back to Hwy 59, just go through the light and it is your 1st left. Other options are Target/Publix grocery, turn left onto Hwy 59, go over the bridge, it is about 5 miles on your right.

 

Sassy Bass Island Grill, take the elevator to the ground floor. The island grill is on the Gulf side of the building. Open 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m  serving Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner. Fresh seafood, and you do not have to drive!

FYI: There is another Sassy Bass Amazing Grill, with a totally different menu. Go left out of the Plantation about 2.5 miles on the left. They also make fresh pizza and deliver to your condo (seasonal). Pizza Delivery  Call 251-975-1010.

The Coast Restaurant & Sushi Bar and Creamery are seasonal, please look at their website listed below for additional information.

The Village Hideaway

Good Food & Good Times. Order something hot off the grill, a made­-to-­order salad or a wrap. Select your toppings for a homemade pizza or satisfy your seafood craving with a generous platter. The Village Hideaway has an extensive collection of craft beers, wine selections and specialty cocktails of your choice.

Kiva Dunes

On the island there is Kiva Dunes, which is walking distance. Located next door, look for the Golf Carts, go through that door and you will see the restaurant that overlooks the beautiful golf course, casual attire but no swimsuits. Serving breakfast/lunch/dinner.

The Village Lawn

The Village Lawn is the newest hub of food, family, and fun all summer long! Located north of The Beach Club, The Village Lawn is a place where the kids can run free and the parents can rest easy.

Behind The Pines

Leaving the Plantation, go left and Behind The Pines is 2.5 miles on your right.

The Coast Restaurant & Sushi Bar

Located at Beach Club 1.5 Miles on the beach. Go right when exiting our resort. Semi Causal, The Coast Restaurant & Sushi Bar is a family-friendly restaurant offering the freshest seafood from the Gulf. Enjoying breathtaking views of the Alabama Gulf Coast white-sand beaches.

The Village Creamery

The Village Creamery is seasonal. If you are looking for something sweet. The Creamery has something to satisfy any sweet ­tooth including 16 flavors of ice cream.

Tacky Jacks 2

Is at the end of the peninsula in Ft. Morgan, they are on the Bay-side, bar downstairs, food upstairs. It is a fun place in the evenings for karaoke and an ice cold beer.

Back to Orange Beach, go right onto Hwy 59 and look for budget friendly Shrimp Basket, their red snapper and shrimp are really good. Both reasonably priced. Sunset Cork-Room has a delicious steak and an endless wine list. Try Colbolts for that special occasion.
